Google Pixel 4 equipped camera with telephoto lens?

The release of the Google Camera app opens up a variety of new information, one of which is the presence of a rear camera with a telephoto lens on Pixel 4.

This news comes from XDA-Developers, which uninstalls the Google Camera app, precisely the Super Res Zoom feature of the ' Sabre ' code. From the line of code that has stored a reference that mentions the word ' telephoto '.

From this reference, people in the Forum found a list of camera sensor sizes supported by Google Camera. From this list can be found sensors used in Pixel 3, such as regular front camera, wide angle front camera, and rear camera.

But not only that, there are two other sensors that were not previously used. Namely ' FRONT_IR ' and ' REAR_TELEPHOTO '. From here it is assumed that both sensors will be used in Pixel 4, and the currently available Google Camera already supports the unreleased phone.

' FRONT_IR ' seems to refer to an infra-red front camera that is commonly used to support the face authentication feature found in Android Q Beta. Then there are also some other references that support ' REAR_TELEPHOTO ', which is a number of codes that reveal the sensor resolution for telephoto lenses on Pixel 4, which is 16 megapixels.

So it looks like Pixel 4 will be equipped with an additional rear camera that has a resolution of 16 megapixels with a telephoto lens. However, this is certainly an assumption, and it is only certain that when Google releases the Pixel 4 later, it is quoted from 9to5Google on Monday (8/7/2019).
