Samsung is working on developing Exynos 5420 chipset

A kernel database shows that Samsung is working on the development of a new processor. Thus, the Exynos 5420 published on 23 May as patchwork on Kernel.org under the development name: SMDK5420.

Further details are not yet known, but it is rumored for some time that Samsung is working to provide you with a Exynos ARM's Mali T-GPU instead of the PowerVR GPU. 5 Octa chipset Possible that this 5420 will become reality. Details have been discovered of a new Samsung processor which could possibly launch in the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3, the Samsung Exynos 5420, we had previously heard that the device would come with a Qualcomm processor.

The Samsung Exynos 5420 processor was discovered in the patchwork.kernel.org by the guys from Mobileaks, as yet we do not have any details on the processor, hopefully we will find out more details soon.



The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumored to feature a full HD 5.9 inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, we previously heard that the device would come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, although it is possible that we will also see a version with this new Samsung Exynos 5420 processor.

Other rumored specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 include 2GB of RAM, possibly 3GB of RAM for a 4G LTE version, and a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage.



We are expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to come with Android Jelly Bean, whether it will be the existing Android 4.2.2 or the yet to be announced Android 4.3 remains to be seen.

Samsung are holding a press conference in London later this month on the 20th of June, we are expecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to be one of the devices announced at the event, as soon as we get some more details we will let you guys know.
